When you look through websites related to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)  and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) you will be able to find a great deal of information about what IBD and IBS is all about.  It is highly likely that if you have either IBS or IBD you will  know how you feel and are more likely to be looking for  information about how to feel better.

We focus  specifically on the information that we believe is missing and try to make this available to you. We have a particular focus on how diet can help you  manage your symptoms and have put together a  number of brochures that are available for you to  download. We firmly believe that:

The information contained within  this website can be the key to your successful  management of your symptoms;

People with IBD deserve dietary information rather than being left to determine this themselves through “trial and error”;

It is unhelpful to advise someone with irritating and painful symptoms to find out what types of food makes his/her symptoms worse and to leave people to develop their own individual plans without providing a framework. (it could take quite a long time even if you are 100% motivated in your goal);

Lack of statistical evidence should not lead us to dismiss the benefit of diet in IBD

Our duty should be to give you information that based on physiology of digestion, dietary and IBD research in order that you can make an informed decision about what you eat and why you choose to eat it.
